Convenient location and attentive staff
One of the highlights of our stay at Park Hotel was the incredibly convenient location. With trams and attractions close by, we were able to explore Melbourne easily. The staff were attentive and friendly, making check-in a breeze. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as tiny car spaces and a slightly blocked shower drain, our overall experience was comfortable. The well soundproofed rooms provided a quiet night's sleep and the generous beds ensured our comfort. I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and attentive staff.

The service staff were great. Location was great. My family enjoyed their stay.
The toilet doesn't have a heater. The air con was old and faulty.

I really enjoyed my stay. The Staff were wonderful, the lady at the reception was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. I think her name was Christine, she was outstanding. Also the two people that looked after me at dinner were superb, I did not get there names but the young man behind the bar was great and then the young lady that looked after me at dinner was just wonderful to me. I had an excellent starter and main course. The room was clean, the only thing I would say is that the water when i had a shower was just warm almost cold. I was going to mention it when I checked out but I forgot when I was greeted with such a warm welcome. I travel a lot through out the year and I will say that this was my best place I have stayed at this year. I returned at lunch time to grab my bag and have lunch before leaving for the Airport, I had some potato cakes which were $9, I thought that was exspensive for 3 small cakes. But all is fine, thank you for the follow up. Derek

We had an epic time exploring the endless boutiques on Collins Street, feeling like true fashion influencers. And let me tell you, the Crown casino was straight fire! Open 24 hours with non-stop entertainment, it was the perfect spot to let loose and try our luck. Plus, the Yarra Valley Lodge was boujee AF, nestled in the lush grounds of the Heritage Golf & Country Club. It was the ultimate retreat after a wild night out!
The only thing that could've made our stay even more epic is if the hotel had some sick party vibes. Like, imagine if they had a rooftop bar or a nightclub where we could dance the night away and mingle with other young party-goers.

Was great to see the front reception staff did not adhere too closely to digital technology beyond reason, and gave a human element to their work.
Reception staff could have been better presented - their manner of dress, deportment, and grooming detracted from their professionalism.

The bar in the lobby. Car parking. Large room.
The bathroom was quite old and tired- though it was not cramped, it was surprisingly old and worn (cracked tiles- dark mouldy looking joints and grout, poor finishes). The bathroom was inconsistent with the rest of the room. Mattress seemed to have lost its structure and was not very supportive

I had a great experience at this place. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic view overlooking a beautiful park. The staff here are incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The amenities in the room were top-notch, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. I also appreciated the sitting area and dining table, which added a touch of luxury to the room. Additionally, the free toiletries, washing machine, and dryer were convenient and made my stay even more comfortable. The television and AM/FM alarm clock were a nice touch, and the carpeted floor added to the overall cozy ambiance of the room.
I highly recommend this venue to everyone.

The bar and restaurant area are lovely and relaxing and the service was great
The rooms walls were grotty with suspicious globs of something on the wall near our bed. The bathrooms need updating as the rust is spreading down the shower walls. We found dirty underwear in our room from a previous customer and when mentioned to reception no compensation was offered. We always book out two interconnecting rooms for our stay but wont be returning

The Park Hotel Melbourne offers a delightful breakfast with ample choices and high-quality options. The room exceeded our expectations, being both spacious and well-furnished. Its location is ideal, just a short walk from the bustling Lygon St. and within reach of the free tram zone. The comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, and the view of Lincoln Park was a pleasant surprise. The bar provided excellent drink prices during happy hour, and the buffet breakfast was delicious, particularly the freshly cooked hot food.
Hard to think of anything

Ordered food at 9. Got promised it would be brought. I rang before ten to be told kitchen was closed and they could give me wine. I think it is unfair and isnt happy, if u dont want to give food. Say so from the start

It was clean, comfortable and convenient to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
We experienced quite a bit of noise from other residents outside the lift (next to our room) during the night which woke us several times. No free wi fi in our room was a disappointment as well as problems finding a suitable powerpoint for the electric jug (we sat it on the floor in the end) and having to pay for our car park in addition to the cost of the room.

The hotel is in a nice area and conveniently located close to a tram stop, making it easy to travel to Chinatown and other parts of town. Restaurants are within walking distance. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with a great rain shower. Staff provide good service and conference facilities are functional. A bar with a good coffee and food selection is also a plus.
One reviewer mentioned some issues with the breakfast buffet, with some fruit not up to standard.

Position was great except trams were not running over the weekend due to maintenance.
See above. Also price was a bit high compared to some other hotels.
